At Guiding Roots, we provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services designed to support children in developing essential skills, reducing challenging behaviors, and fostering social-emotional growth. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services
Counseling and Mental Health Therapy
We also offer counseling and mental health therapy through our Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), providing individual, family, and parent-child sessions to children, teens, and adults. Our therapy services address anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, and coping strategies while supporting families in navigating life’s transitions and challenges. We guide children in understanding their feelings, developing healthy coping skills, and growing self-awareness, while supporting parents in cultivating nurturing environments that allow their children to thrive.
Our school and classroom support services include consultation with teachers and staff, classroom observations, and individualized intervention planning. We collaborate with educators to implement evidence-based strategies that promote positive behavior, social-emotional growth, and an inclusive learning environment for all students. We also conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA's) to identify the root cause of challenging behaviors and design targeted strategies that promote behavior, social-emotional growth, and an inclusive learning environment for all students.
Providing BCBA supervision involves guiding and overseeing individuals pursuing Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. This includes offering mentorship, conducting regular assessments of clinical skills, providing feedback on behavior analysis techniques, and ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis. Supervision also involves facilitating professional development, addressing ethical dilemmas, and assisting with the completion of required supervision hours and coursework.
School/Classroom Support
Parent and Caregiver Coaching
Finally, our parent and caregiver coaching empowers families with practical strategies for supporting behavior and emotional development at home. We guide parents in creating consistent routines, reinforcing new skills, and becoming active partners in their child’s growth and success, ensuring that progress at school and therapy carries over into everyday life.
